Baseline Skate Shop
When you need skateboard components and skate clothes that actually work, ordering from overseas and waiting six weeks beats most local options — until it doesn't.
Baseline Skate Shop is built for exactly that problem.
What they do
Baseline Skate Shop is a South African skate specialist stockist carrying boards, components, and apparel across multiple premium skate brands. The range spans decks, trucks, wheels, bearings, and grip tape alongside branded skate shoes, hoodies, tees, and jackets. Baseline is positioned as the place skaters go when they need current gear in hand now, not months from an international order.
For deal hunting, Baseline Skate Shop sits in Sports on The Real Deal.
What to look at first
If Baseline is new to you, here's where to start.
Complete Skateboards and Decks
Ready-to-ride completes and individual decks from established skate brands.
Best for: riders who want a complete setup or just need a fresh deck.
Trucks and Wheels
Precision trucks, quality wheels, and bearing sets.
Best for: maintaining a board or swapping components for specific feel and speed.
Grip Tape and Hardware
Grip, bolts, and bearing maintenance.
Best for: board upkeep and protection.
Skate Shoes and Apparel
Brand-name skate shoes and clothing built for board and street wear.
Best for: getting dressed for the park without importing from overseas.
Simple way to think about it:
If your deck is done, check the new stock instead of waiting.
If your wheels need replacing or you need shoes today, that's what Baseline solves.

What makes them different
Baseline is a real stockist, not a mail-order operation. Having gear in hand, available now, beats the months-long lead time that comes with overseas ordering. That availability alone changes the game for people who skate regularly and don't want to plan around shipping.
The other advantage is brand depth. Baseline carries established skate hardware and apparel brands rather than house-brand gear, which means you're getting components from makers who actually specialize in skate. Quality trucks and wheels make a measurable difference in how a board rides.

- You're okay waiting weeks for overseas shipments.
If you're in the skate scene and tired of the overseas wait, Baseline cuts through that completely. Before you commit to anything, take a second to see if there are any live Baseline Skate Shop deals running on The Real Deal.
